The BOA Group, one of the leading manufacturers of flexible, mechanical elements for the automotive and aerospace industry as well as for a wide range of industrial applications, won its first contract with Daimler Heavy Vehicles.
With an annual requirement of 10.000 pieces BOA successfully entered the direct business with Daimler Heavy Vehicles. The decoupled exhaust pipe is fitted to the 15,6l engine between turbo charger and I-duct. The engine meets the requirements of Euro 6 in Europe, EPA 10 in the USA and Stage 5 for industrial engines; it is installed in Daimler Actros and Arocs, in the brands Freightliner and Western Star as well as in numerous off road vehicles.
Preparing production already started; the SOP is scheduled for April 2017.
