Stutensee, Germany: BOA, a leading provider of flexible components for bridging and securing demanding environments, is proud to announce that it has received a ‘Best Plant’ award from the PSA Peugeot Citroen Group, recognizing outstanding supplier performance in 2013.
The Award was presented to BOA Group at the PSA Peugeot Citroën ‘Best Supplier Awards’ event in Paris by Carlos Tavares, Chairman of the Managing Board, and Yannick Bézard, Executive Vice President, Purchasing. The Awards celebrate suppliers who are fully engaged in their relationship with the Group and who demonstrated the deepest understanding of its expectations and the most proactive ability to meet them.
The new award, for "Best Plants of 2013", was presented to 96 production facilities in in recognition of their performance in manufacturing excellence, which is enabling the PSA Group to meet its quality standards, from producing the vehicle to handing over the keys. In 2013, PSA Peugeot Citroën's Group worked with a panel of 1,436 suppliers and encourages local sourcing in all of its host communities.
The ‘Best Plant’ award assessment was based on achievement against a number of performance criteria including delivered quality, on-time delivery, logistics capability and customer service including technical and engineering support as well as problem resolution.
